Catherine is 50 years old. She is married and has seven children, all of whom are currently in school. Catherine has a poultry farm business, which she has run for two years.
To help expand her business, Catherine has requested a loan of 1,500,000 Ugandan Shillings from Kiva partner, BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to purchase more chickens for resale. With the help of her loan from BRAC, Catherine hopes to generate greater profits and buy food for her family. In the future, she hopes to expand her business further.
