Hanifah is 27 years old. She is married and has three children, one of whom is currently in school. Hanifah has a video library business, which she has run for four years.
To help expand her business, Hanifah has requested a loan of 1,500,000 Ugandan Shillings from Kiva partner, BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to purchase more video DVDs for resale. With the help of her loan from BRAC, Hanifah hopes to generate greater profits and buy food for her family. In the future, she hopes to expand her business further.
