La Señora. Marcia es socia del banco comunal Nuevos Horizontes, vive por el centro de la ciudad de Cuenca, ciudad que es reconocida por la belleza de sus paisajes, su centro colonial, su cultura, tradiciones, gastronomía y su gente.

Doña Marcia tiene 38 años, es divorciada, no tiene hijos pero se encuentra a la tutela de una sobrina que es huérfana, ella tiene 9 años de edad y estudia en una escuelita de la ciudad, no tienen casa propia por lo que viven arrendando.

La Señora. Marcia es comerciante de todo tipo de ropa, esta actividad la desempeña hace 20 años, su mercadería vende en sus tiempos libres y fines de semana. Hace 2 meses trabaja cuidando adultos mayores pero solo medio día. También tiene un puesto en la esquina de su casa donde vende chuzos (carne en palito).

En el banco comunal se encuentra hace 12 años y todos los cerditos le han beneficiado en sus negocios. El dinero de este crédito lo va a invertir en la compra de ropa como: pantalones, blusas, camisetas y ropa de niños.

Su sueño es tener su casa propia.
