Maria Lucia, 42, is a member of a band called "Roland's Band" in Otavalo, Ecuador. She is seeking an individual loan, but is pictured with the other members of her band. Maria Lucia plans to use her loan to purchase an audio amplifier for her band's performances.
She is married and has five children, aged 22, 20, 18, 13 and 11. She is a humble person who desires to overcome personal and socioeconomic obstacles. "Roland's Band" began as a hobby because Maria Lucia's son enjoyed music. Three of her sons are now members of the band. She reports that her business is going very well and that there is demand for "Roland's Band" to perform every weekend. Her dreams are for her band to record their music and continue moving forward with her children and husband.
Maria Lucia reports that there is competition in her line of work, but she does not have a problem with that because she gets along well with her children and her husband and their musical business.
