Riziki is a married woman with five children, four of whom attend school. She owns a house that has no electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family.
For the past 5 years, Riziki has operated a beauty salon business from home, catering to her neighbors and passersby. She also operates a food stall business as another source of income. Riziki faces a major challenge of seasonality. During the low season, especially from April through July, the availability of customers is lower. Riziki dreams of expanding her business in the future.
Riziki plans to use this KES 20,000 loan to purchase hair weaves, gel and hair food oil. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
