Mrs. Lala is a 23 year old, married woman who lives with her 3 children and spouse in a monogamous family in Sanankoroba, a prefecture of Kati, the second largest administrative region in Mali.

Very early on, Lala became interested in income-generating businesses, notably the purchase and sale of diary products: powdered milk, fresh milk, milk curd, cream, yogurt, etc.

While looking for additional funding, she decided to sign-up for the Soro Yiriwaso loan program. She is on her first loan.

She stocks up twice a month in Bamako and plans to buy with this loan, five sacks of powdered milk which she will sell retail, from place to place, for cash, to male and female customers. She hopes to achieve a monthly profit of 60,000 FCFA which will be used to cover her expenses and to make loan payments.

Madame Lala est une femme mariée de 23 ans, qui vit avec ses 3 enfants et son époux dans une famille monogame, à Sanankoroba, préfecture de Kati, deuxième région administrative de la république du Mali.
Très tôt Lala s’intéressa aux activités génératrices de revenus notamment à l’achat vente des produits laitiers : lait en poudre, lait frais, laits caillé, crèmes, yaourts etc.
Dans ses recherches de ressources financières complémentaires, elle décide d’adhérer au programme crédit de Soro Yiriwaso, avec qui elle est à son premier prêt.
Elle s’approvisionne deux fois par mois à Bamako et compte acheter avec ce prêt, cinq sacs de lait en poudre qu’elle vendra, en détail, en ambulant et surtout au comptant à une clientèle composée d’hommes et de femmes. Elle espère réaliser un bénéfice mensuel de 60.000FCFA qui sera utilisé pour subvenir à ses dépenses et rembourser les échéances du prêt.
