This group was formed because there is a desire from several members of the society to diligently rear pigs more seriously and with better management. Previously, they heard of animal rearing groups based on Dinari Foundation, which receive instruction and funding capital. With 7 members, this group is headed by Ni Kadek Sumarni and is named Kelompok Werdi Laksana.
Kelompok Werdi Laksana obtained good and proper instruction and training on how to rear pigs, financial management, and methods of warding off diseases. When the knowledge of the members is adequate, Kelompok Werdi Laksana received a loan, which will be used to purchase superior quality piglets and quality supplies. This is in order to achieve the maximum output from the level of quality as compared rearing local pigs.
Having the construction and support from the funding loan, kelompok Werdi Laksana is optimistic that they will be able to materialize a successful business.

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
