Pelagie was born in 1958. She has eight children who are aged 15-30 years. Five of them are in school while the other three have accomplished school. Her husband is a farmer.
Pelagie sells sorghum and this business has enabled her to feed her family with no difficulties. She has done this business for five years. She is requesting a loan to buy more sorghum and make a locally produced non-alcoholic drink called "ubushera". She plans to renovate her house with the profits she hopes to make.
