Florecitas De Santa Ana Tlapaltitlan Group
One of the members is Sra. Ines. She is 27 years old, married, and has four children. Sra. Ines says that she has been selling flowers for 15 years and manages a small greenhouse. She sells her products on the street. The needs of her family keep growing each time, and the incomes that both she and her husband generate are not sufficient. Ines is very excited about growing her business and hopes to have a shop where she can sell floral arrangements. This loan will allow her to invest in the purchase of fertilizers and seeds so that she can cultivate a wider variety of flowers and sell them in larger quantities. Her dream is to provide her children with the opportunity to continue their studies so that they can earn a professional degree someday.

This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
