Juliana.
Juliana is a lady who was married to Fedeline. They have eight children, two of them are below the age of fithteen. She is now separated from her husband and lives in a two-room house with two persons per room in the Elemighong quarter in the Belo subdivision. Her first loan was given to her in 2010 and she invested it in the purchase of irish potatoes and beans to sell.

Juliana is requesting her second loan from GHAPE to do farming and also to buy irish potatoes, corn, fowls, tobacco and kerosene to resell. She plans to use the loan for 120,000 FCFA to buy irish potatoes for 30,000 FCFA, maize for 50,000 FCFA, fowls for 20,000 FCFA, tobacco for 10,000FCFA, kerosene for 10,000 FCFA. She thinks she will succeed because she is always available at her business site to serve her clients and she makes sure her goods are always available for her customers at moderate prices. The loan will help the community since she sells what the people want.

Juliana has faced challenges in her life. One of her children had died, she felt sick for a long time, and her children ran and stayed in the bush for a night. The profit she will get from this loan will be used to pay tuition fees, hospital bills and food for the family. She prefers a loan from GHAPE because repayment can be made bit by bit, the interest rates are low, and GHAPE also gives out a training series on loan management.
