Bernardo
A native of Maxixene District, Zambezia Province, he went to school until 10th grade. He is married and has three children between the ages of 6 and 15. He left Zambezia to go to Maputo in order to complete his obligatory military service and later decided to make his home in this province.

Bernardo currently lives and works in the tourist area of Ponto do Ouro, in Matutine District. With the salary he receives, he is able to feed his family and save a little in the bank, Banco Comercial (BCI).

He learned about Hluvuku-Adesma from conversations with coworkers and friends, and he decided to come to the institution for more information about the procedures for becoming a customer and benefiting from loans to complete his projects. He has been a Hluvuku-Adesema customer from November 6, 2006 until this year, 2011. His first loan, for 5,000 meticais, was for buying cement to make blocks. The second, for 6,500 meticais, was also for purchasing materials. With this 20,000 meticais loan, Bernardo intends to continue his project (buying stone, zinc sheets for the roof, and other materials).

He intends to see his house finished, and to make this happen he is counting on Hluvuku-Adsema for more loans.
