The members of the Katiereton 2 group are married men who are on average 49 years old and have an average of 7 children. Most of them live in polygamous families in Nimprodioula, one of the villages in the Sikasso community, (third administrative region of Mali)
They collaborate with the Soro Yiriwaso microfinance institution in order to carry their agricultural activities through the winter.
This is their third loan with the institution and the previous loan was repaid correctly.
The crops grown by this group of men are usually corn,like Kalifa Sibiri.
With this new loan, he plans to purchase products for the earth (fertiliser and weed killer), and small tools for the maintenance of his fields.
After the harvest the produce is sold in the village and at the market in Sikasso to men and women customers.
Kalifa Sibiri hopes to make an average profit of 110 000 FCFA for each field and wishes to continue his cooperation with Soro Yiriwaso.
His aim is to build a house for residence in the future.
Les membres du groupe KATIERETON 2 sont des hommes mariés ayant une moyenne d’âge de 49 ans, 7 enfants et vivant la plupart dans des familles polygames à Nimprodioula un des villages de la commune de Sikasso, (3ème région administrative du Mali).
Ils collaborent avec l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso afin de mener à bien leurs activités agricoles pendant l’hivernage.
Ils sont à leur troisième collaboration avec l’institution et le prêt passé a été bien remboursé.
Les spéculations cultivées par ce groupe d’homme sont généralement le maïs tes avec KALIFA SIBIRI.
Avec ce nouveau prêt, il compte acheter des intrants ( engrais et herbicides), les petits matériels pour entretien des champs.
Les productions sont vendues au niveau du village et au marché de Sikasso après les récoltes à une clientèle composée d’hommes et de femmes.
KALIFA SIBIRI compte réaliser un bénéfice moyen de 110 000 FCFA par campagne et souhaite entretenir sa collaboration avec Soro Yiriwaso.
Il ambitionne de construire une maison à usage d’habitation dans l’avenir.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients.
