The 10 members of the group BENKADI 2 are all married women with an average age of 31 and on average five children. They live in traditional families in MEMISSALA, a village situated about 30 km from the town of NIENA, Sikasso region, third administrative region of Mali.

These clients are on their fifth rural loan with the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso so as to satisfy their average need for agricultural supplies and intrants. Their prior loans have been reimbursed satisfactorily.

This group of women grow maize, rice, and peanuts, etc. and it is profitable for them to sell these crops in their area.

DIATOU plans to buy three sacks of urea (fertilizer), two sacks of grain-complex, and use the rest to pay for plowing and weeding. She expects to make an average profit of 50,000 to 55,000 F CFA which will be used for everyday expenditures of her family.

Les 10 membres du groupe BENKADI 2 sont tous des femmes mariées ayant en moyenne 31 ans, 5 enfants et vivant dans des familles traditionnelles à MEMISSALA, un village situé à environ 30 km de la ville de NIENA région de Sikasso, 3ème région administrative du Mali.
Ces clientes sont à leur cinquième cycle de prêt de campagne avec l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso afin de satisfaire le besoin en moyen de production et intrant agricole. Les prêts antérieurs ont été remboursés avec satisfaction.
Ce groupe de femme fait la culture du maïs, du riz, d’arachide etc et leurs ventes font l’objet d’activité rentable dans la zone.
DIATOU, qui est la présidente du groupe, debout au milieu avec une écharpe noire, compte acheter, 3 sacs d’urée 2 sacs de complexe céréale et le reste comme frais de labour et de sarclage. Il envisage réaliser un bénéfice moyen de 50.000 à 55 000 FCFA qui sera utilisé pour les dépenses quotidiennes de la famille.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients.
