Grigol is a 37-year-old farmer from the village of Tchvinta, in the southern part of Georgia. He is married and lives with his wife Shorena, 13-year-old daughter, 2-year-old son and mother (retired). Grigol and Shorena lead the dairy farm of the family. They have three milk cows. They sell the dairy products from the cows on the local market. The total income of the family is 600 Laris per month, including the pension of Grigol’s mother.
With the requested loan, Grigol will purchase an additional milk cow. They will get more milk and increase the sales of the dairy products. An increase in income will allow the family to purchase more household goods in order to improve the family’s living conditions.
