The 10 members of the BENKELEMA 2 group are married women who have an average age of 34 years and 5 children and live in large traditional families in Konona, located approximately 30 km from the commune of Niena in the Sikasso region, 3rd administrative region of Mali.
These clients are on their third loan cycle campaign with the Soro Yiriwaso microfinance institution in order to meet the need for means of production and agricultural fertilizer. The previous loans have been satisfactorily repaid.
This group of women grows corn, rice, peanuts, okra, ground peas etc. MAYATOU plans to use her loan to buy two bags of urea, one bag of complex fertilizer and the remainder for labor and hoeing costs. She expects to make an average monthly profit of 20,000 to 25,000 CFA which will be used for the family’s household expenses.

Les 10 membres de BENKELEMA 2 sont des femmes mariées ayant une moyenne d’âge de 34 ans, 5 enfants et vivant dans des grandes familles traditionnelles à Konona, un situé à environ 30 km de la ville de NIENA région de Sikasso, 3ème région administrative du Mali.
Ces clientes sont à leur troisième cycle de prêt de campagne avec l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso afin de satisfaire le besoin en moyen de production et intrant agricole. Les prêts antérieur Sont été remboursés avec satisfaction.
Ce groupe de femme fait la culture du maïs, du riz, d’arachide, de gombo, de pois de terre, etc.
MAYATOU compte utiliser son prêt pour acheter, 2 sacs d’urée 1 sac de complexe céréale et le reste comme frais de labour et de sarclage. Il envisage réaliser un bénéfice moyen de 20.000 à 25 000 FCFA qui sera utilisée pour les dépenses quotidiennes de la famille.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients. Kiva lenders’ funds will enable Soro Yiriwaso to expand its outreach and target even more underserved Malians involved in business and agriculture.
