Mercy is a married woman with 4 girls, all of whom attend school. She lives in a rental house that has electricity but not piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is school fees for her children.
For the past 7 years, Mercy has been operating a tailoring business where she makes clothes to sell. In addition, she also operates a boutique and a cosmetics shop as another source of income. Mercy faces a major challenge of seasonality in her business. She dreams of establishing a business premise in the future.
With this loan for Kshs 60,000, Mercy wants to purchase bundles of ladies clothes, fabrics and cosmetics. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
