Sokhun is 38 years old. She resides in Prey Veng province, an area known as one of the largest rice producing regions in Cambodia. Sokhun is a housewife. Her two children are employed at a factory, each earning an income of USD 2 per day. Each month, the family has to spend USD 30 on food and USD 25 on the other necessary expenses.
Sokhun is requesting a loan of USD 1200 to purchase a plot of farmland to improve the family farming. This will be her first from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner.
