Big, 58, resides in Prey Veng province, Cambodia, an area known as one of the largest rice producing regions the country.
Big is a housewife while her three children are employed at the factory, earning an income of $2 US each per day to help cover the family's expenses. Each month, the family has to spend $25 on food and $25 on the other necessary expenses.
Big is requesting a loan of $1000 to purchase fabrics to resell. This will be her first from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner.
