Luz Marina
Luz Marina lives in the neighborhood of Socorro in the beautiful city of Cartagena de Indias. She has a business called “Festejarte” which organizes children’s parties. This business has helped to support her household, which consists of her husband and three children who range in age from 3 to 7.


She started with a trampoline that she brought to the neighborhood parks. Luz gradually began renting equipment and then bought additional children’s games. Today she offers party services designed specifically for children. This Kiva loan is the first loan she has received from Fundación Mario Santo Domingo. She will use the funds to buy kindergarten games to rent out and invest in promotional leaflets to advertise her business.


Her dreams are to have her own home and devote all of her efforts for her family so that her children can experience well-being and receive a quality education.

Luz Marina vive en la hermosa ciudad de Cartagena de Indias, en el barrio el Socorro donde tiene un negocio llamado “Festejarte” dedicado a la organización de fiestas infantiles, negocio que le ha servido para apoyar la gestión de su hogar conformado por su esposo y sus tres hijos en las edades de 3 a 7 años; Ella inició con un trampolín que ubicaba en los parques de barrios, gradualmente empezó a alquilar esta infraestructura y fue comprando juegos infantiles que adicionó y que hoy ofrece el servicio en las fiestas dirigidas a niños. Su credikiva es el primer financiamiento que recibe de la Fundación Mario Santo Domingo con el cual comprará juegos de jardín para alquilar e invertirá en volantes promocionales para dar a conocer su negocio. Su sueño es lograr tener una casa propia y está haciendo todos los esfuerzos en familia para lograrlo, así como llevar a que sus hijos disfruten de bienestar y principalmente que tengan una educación de calidad.
