Dominga is a member of the "San José D. Urubamba" community bank which is located in Urubamba district, in Urubamba province, in Cusco department.
Dominga is 53 years old, married, and has seven children. She divides her time between her daily activities and her business selling food. She prepares different dishes such as 'anticuchos' (a grilled meat and potato dish). She also sells chicken soup and barbecued meats. She makes her sales as an itinerant street vendor in Yucay district. Through this business, she gets her children ahead in life. Dominga would like to expand and improve her food business. She is requesting this loan so that she can buy products to cook such as rice, potatoes, chicken and meat. She will also buy firewood.
Dominga is happy to be receiving a loan and pledges to make her repayments on time.
