Mrs. Chhun is a 30-year-old farmer in the rural area of Prey Chor district. She plants an annual rice crop with the help of her husband. Mrs. Chhun is looking for a $1200 loan to buy a plot of land in order to enlarge her rice-crop planting. She has four children, two attend school and the other two are at home.

The organization provides microfinance services to the poor, particularly women, in urban and rural areas. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the outreach of HKL’s financial services to a greater number of clients in rural areas of Cambodia.
