Mrs. Va is the mother of two who has been working as a farmer since 1999. She and her husband work together in their farm field and earn a daily profit of approximately 5 USD to provide for expenses such as food, education, and utilities.
Mrs. Va says she has a problem with meeting her family’s traveling needs. When they need to travel they must hire a motor taxi. To reduce this expense, Mrs. Va is requesting a loan through Kiva to buy a new motorbike. She plans to use the motorbike for traveling and also to start a motor taxi service to make extra income.
