Elvira es socia del Banco Comunal “Nuevo Amanecer”, ubicado en el distrito Juli, provincia Chucuito departamento de Puno, tiene 30 años de edad, es viuda y tiene dos hijos en edad escolar. La señora estudió educación superior (incompleta).
Hace ocho años que trabaja con el Movimiento Manuela Ramos, su préstamo inicial fue de S/. 300.00 nuevos soles, dinero que incrementó al capital de su negocio al cual se dedicaba anteriormente (venta al por menor de artículos artesanales), en la actualidad se dedica a la venta de abarrotes.
En la actualidad solicitará un nuevo préstamo por la suma de S/. 1000.00 nuevo soles, dinero que utilizará para comprar mercaderías como: arroz, azúcar, leche, aceite, chocolates y golosinas.

Elvira nos cuenta que también realiza el servicio de recargas de celulares. La señora trabaja sola en su negocio.
Su sueño es tener una tienda y ser mayorista en abarrotes y golosinas en la localidad de Juliaca.
Lo que le gusta del Banco Comunal es la ganancia del ahorro.
