Pests caused by rats is the biggest problem happening in their rice farm. They have made many efforts to overcome the problem such as placed striped colored ribbons-similar to grass snake's skin color that rats are frightened- on their rice farms. Also, they grew tadpoles to invite the snakes. They also planned to invest some of the loan on an ultrasonic device - rats can not stand the noise - to evict the rats. The value of the device is Rp 300.000,00.
