Asia is a married woman with one child who is still too young for school. She owns a house that has electricity and piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and electricity bills.
For the past 3 years, Asia has been operating a water selling business. She sells from home to her neighbours and passersby. Asia faces a major challenge in the stiff competition from other water sellers in the area. She dreams of becoming self-reliant in the future.
With this loan for Kshs 70,000, Asia wants to purchase a water pump and pipes to deliver water. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
