Ana Lucila is from the village of Western, Wao, Lanao del Sur. She is 48 years old. Ana Lucila is married and has 4 adult children. To make a living, Ana Lucila owns & operates a mini-restaurant, serving a variety of different meals to customers like afritada, caldereta, halang-halang & fish soup in the local community. Ana Lucila has been engaged in her business for over 11 years and earns approximately 15000 PHP a month for these activities.
In 2009, Ana Lucila joined HSPFI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and her ability to engage in business activities. Ana Lucila has successfully repaid a previous loan of 15000 PHP from HSPFI. This previous loan was used to purchase additional ingredients & working capital. Ana Lucila is requesting a new loan of 20000 PHP which will be used to purchase food & drinks for the restaurant. This will be the 8th loan taken out by Ana Lucila from HSPFI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve and expand her business.
