Ayyub is 58 years old. He is married and has four children. Ayyub is the sole breadwinner for his family and his only income comes from the raising of large livestock and their sale at the local market.
Every year, he buys young calves from farms in adjacent villages. He raises cattle with the help of his wife. He then sells the adult cows and bulls to local butchers.
Today, Ayyub is thinking about expanding his business since the income from his present herd isn't enough to provide for his family. He plans to purchase additional young cattle. To do this, he needs to invest an additional 1,200 AZN in his business.
