Qakhraman has always been hardworking man who has made sure from a young age that his family never goes without their daily bread. He is married with four children.
He has a grocery store where he sells different kinds of foodstuffs. With a starting capital of $200, and thanks to his perseverance and dedication, Qakhraman began this enterprise many years ago. Over time, he expanded his business and today, his whole family is engaged in the business.
Today, Qakhraman needs to buy additional foodstuffs for increasing the range of goods he sells. For this purpose, he is requesting a loan of 1,300 Azerbaijani new manat. He is ready to work even harder, make sacrifices and push every once in a while to achieve his goal and become a successful entrepreneur.
Aqroinvest Credit Union was founded by a group of 32 Imishli farmers in 2001, and has grown to become one of the largest credit unions in Azerbaijan. It boasts a portfolio of nearly $5 million and is wholly owned by its more than 3,500 borrowers, as of December 2011.
