Mouhamadou
Mouhamadou was born on 8th July 1974 and is married to Faossath, a trader. The couple has five children in its care, all at school, and four of which are their own children. Mouhamadou lives with his wife and children. He and his wife provide for their family's needs between them. Mouhamadou went to primary school only, and then learned how to sew, a business which he has been carrying out for the past sixteen years and which enables him to provide for his needs and those of his children. In parallel with this activity, Mouhamadou sells telephone recharge cards. He gets his supplies in Nigeria, a neighboring state of Benin. It is the second time that Mouhamadou is requesting a loan from Alidé. This loan will allow him to get better equipment for his workshop in the form of the acquisition of a sewing machine, and to be able to satisfy better his customers.

Né le 08 juillet 1974, Mouhamadou est marié à Faossath, une marchande. Le couple a cinq enfants à charge, tous scolarisés, dont quatre sont les leurs. Mouhamadou vit ensemble avec sa femme et ses enfants. Mouhamadou subvient ensemble avec sa femme, aux besoins de la famille. Mouhamadou n’a fréquenté que l’école primaire, puis par la suite a appris la couture, une activité qu’il exerce depuis seize ans et qui lui permet de subvenir à ses besoins et à ceux de ses enfants. Parallèlement à cette activité, Mouhamadou vend des cartes de recharges téléphoniques. Mouhamadou s’approvisionne au Nigéria, État voisin du Bénin. C’est la deuxième fois que Mouhamadou sollicite auprès de ALIDé, un crédit. Ce crédit lui permettra de mieux équiper son atelier de couture à travers l’acquisition d’une machine à coudre et de mieux satisfaire sa clientèle.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients.
