Lucy, age 50, is a farmer. She plants and harvests crops and sells farm produce, and also practices livestock rearing. Lucy's husband Jackson runs a retail shop, and together they support their two children, ages 15 and 17.
This is Lucy's fifth loan cycle from KADET Ltd and she has successfully repaid all her previous loans. With her new loan funds, she intends to buy a dairy cow for milk production. She will in turn sell the milk.
