Rebecca is a married woman with 3 children, all of whom attend school. She lives in a rental house that has electricity and piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food, rent bills and school fees.
For the past 6 years, she has been selling clothes especially for men. She sells wholesale, retail, at the market and from door to door. Her major challenge is seasonality. During the December holidays she has many customers purchasing clothes, compared to other months where sales are very low. Rebecca dreams of establishing a well-stocked boutique in the future.
With the Kshs 40,000 she wants to purchase bundles of sodas, mineral water and a freezer. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
