Ruth Del Socorro
Ruth has run a small grocery store selling wood and cooked beans for seven years to support her family. Her husband works on the land in agriculture.

Ruth began her store with just a few products and a constant turn over of staple grains and pulses, the items that she sells the most. Now she is looking for another way to supplement her income through this loan so she can make some small home improvements.

With her previous loan Ruth was able to repair half of her roof by applying a new layer of zinc and spending the other half of the loan on products for her store. She will use this new loan to completely finish her roof by purchasing sheets of zinc, timber and nails to carry out the renovation.
