Zaitun is a married woman and has two children, a boy and a girl. She lives in a rental house that has electricity and piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food, school fees, and rent.
For the past 2 years, Zaitun has been operating a Kanga selling business, selling to her neighbors and passersby. She faces a major challenge in the high cost of transportation and in competition from other clothes selling businesses. She dreams of expanding her business in the future.
With this loan for Kshs 40,000, Zaitun wants to purchase bundles of Kanga for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
