Benicio is 39 years old. He lives a relative’s house in the Olmos district in Lambayeque. Benicio lives in the urban part of this district, and he has basic services.

Benicio has had a grocery store (rice, sugar, oil) for six years, and he has established customers. Benicio makes the purchases for his grocery store in the Olmos district. However, once a month he buys in Chiclayo because he finds a greater variety of products, and at times, lower prices there. Benicio has always stocked his business with his own capital.
