Ramaz T. comes from the village of Zeda Sazano, Imereti region. He is 46 years old and living with his wife, Shorena; his mother; two daughters (20 and 14 years old) and a 12-year-old son. His younger daughter and son go to school. The elder daughter helps her parents with agricultural activities.
Ramaz’s family has two milk cows and ten sheep. Cheese from the cows and sheep is sold locally. Also, they sell lambs seasonally. In addition, Ramaz runs a mixed store in the village, where groceries and various household items are sold.
With the requested loan, Ramaz will increase stock in trade for the store. It will increase the turnover in the store and positively impact the income of the family. In the near future, Ramaz and Shorena’s elder daughter will marry. Ramaz is saving to cover his daughter’s wedding costs. An increase in his profit will allow him to make more savings for the wedding.
