Rebie S. is from the village of Matugas Alto, Jimenez, Misamis Occidental. She is 34 years old. Rebie is married and has three school-aged children.
To make a living, Rebie owns and operates a tricycle transport service. (A tricycle is a motorcycle with a passenger cab.) Rebie has been engaged in her business for over 10 years and earns approximately 3,000 PHP a month for these activities.
In 2006, Rebie joined GDMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve her business and living situation. Rebie has successfully repaid a previous loan of 7,000 PHP from GDMPC. This previous loan was used as additional capital for her business.
