The communal bank Mi Bankito (My Little Bank) is made up of 13 members who are friends and live in the same zone of the city of Cuenca. This city is a mix of colonial and modern. Its people maintain their culture and traditions. They are friendly and cordial like our members who work in various activities that allow them to support their household finances and get their families ahead.

Ms. Nube L. lives in the zone of Monay. She is 29 years old, married and has 3 children who are 8, 5 and 2 years old. Her oldest daughter is studying in one of the city’s schools. Her husband is a chauffeur. Between them they have managed to construct their own home.

Nube is a professional tailor and works in a factory near their house. There she makes pants. She works from Monday to Friday from 8 in the morning until 6 in the evening. At home she takes care of their children as well as raises and sells chickens and pigs.

Nube has been a member of the communal bank for a year and was invited by a friend. She will invest the money from the loan in buying chickens and pigs to continue this business,

Her goal is to complete her secondary studies.

El banco comunal Mi Bankito está formado por 13 socias quienes son amigas y viven por el mismo sector de la ciudad de Cuenca, esta ciudad se una mezcla entre lo colonial y lo moderno, su gente mantiene su cultura y tradiciones, son personas muy amables y muy cordiales como nuestras socias, quienes laboran en diferentes actividades que les permiten aportar a la economía de sus hogares y sacar adelante a sus familias.

La Señora. Nube L. vive por el sector del Monay, tiene 29 años, es casada y tiene 3 hijos de 8, 5, 2 de edad, su priM. hija estudia en una escuelita de la ciudad. Su esposo es de profesión chofer privado, con el trabajo conyugal han logrado construir su casa propia.

Doña Nube es de profesión sastre y trabaja en una fábrica cerca de su casa, allí se dedica a confeccionar pantalones, trabaja de lunes a viernes desde las 8 de la mañana hasta las 6 de la tarde. En su hogar se dedica al cuidado de sus hijos como a la cría y venta de pollos y cerdos.

Es socia del banco comunal hace 1 año al cual fue invitada por una amiga, el dinero de su crédito lo va a invertir en la compra de pollos y cerdos para continuar con este negocio.

Su meta es culminar sus estudios secundarios.

En la fotografía del grupo está una foto pequeña adjunta de la Señora Gloria Susana que por motivos de fuerza mayor tubo que ausentarse y no pudo estar presente cuando se tomó la foto del grupo.
