Fatumah N. is 32 years old and lives in the town of Makindye in the Kampala central region of Uganda. She is married and has four children, three of whom are currently in school. Fatumah has a business selling clothes, which she has run for two years.
To help expand her business, Fatumah has requested a loan of 1,500,000 Ugandan Shillings from Kiva partner, BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to purchase more clothes for resale. With the help of her loan from BRAC, Fatumah hopes to generate greater profits and buy food. In the future, she hopes to expand her business.
