Ayawovi
Aged 34, Ayawovi is a widow and the mother of 2 children. She is devoted and always ready to help others. She sells charcoal (this product is widely used by households, it's a cooking fuel so it is very much in demand by women in the kitchen). She has been involved in this activity for 13 years. She gets her supplies at Notsé (a town about 100km from the city of Lomé) and resells in Anfamé (a district of the city of Lomé). This first loan will allow her to buy coal to sell to the people of Lomé and the surrounding area. She will be able to make a profit so she can take better care of the children. She will also be able to increase her level of activity in the business and, later on, to build a house and invest in another income-producing activity.
