Bernardo is a member of the "Mateo Pumacahua" community bank which is located in Chinchero district, in Urubamba province, in Cusco department.
Bernardo is 33 years old and single. He divides his time between his daily activities and his business selling handicrafts. He sells handicrafts in Chinchero district. He sells blankets, sweaters, scarves and necklaces in the different street markets. Through this business he would like to get ahead in life. He would like to expand and improve his business selling handicrafts. He is requesting this loan to buy handicrafts wholesale.
Bernardo is happy to be receiving his loan and pledges to make his repayments on time.
