Salem is a 54 year old married father of three children. He works as a blacksmith and has 35 years experience. He loves his work, is very distinguished in it and is the sole service provider for most of his customers. He is known for his precision, innovative work and reasonable prices. He has customers from his local area and his neighbours, but his progress and his ability to keep up new developments is impeded by lack of financial capital. With this loan he wants to purchase new tools to work with, and a new electricity generator. He has faced a number of financial difficulties but due to his vast experience and desire for progress he aspires to own a second business in order to help increase his income.
