Antonia
Antonia was born in Vilcabamba community, in Caicay district, in Paucartambo province, in Cusco department. She is 45 years old, has six sons, and lives in the town where she was born.

Antonia's business is making adobe bricks which are used in building houses. She has two employees who make the bricks by hand and she sells her products to all the residents of her community as well as those in other regions of Cusco department. Antonia has been in this business for 10 years and it is doing very well thanks to the commitment that she puts into her work.

Antonia also has a sideline business raising animals such as guinea pigs, hens and other animals. Antonia will invest the loan that she is going to receive in buying animals such as guinea pigs and hens.

Antonia is a member of Asociación Arariwa's "Mamacha del Carmen" community bank. The bank is in its third year and doing very well.

Antonia nació en la comunidad de Vilcabamba del distrito de Caicay de la provincia de Paucartambo del departamento del Cusco, ella tiene 45 años edad, tiene seis hijos varones y vive en la misma ciudad donde nació. Antonia se dedica a la fabricación de adobes de barros para construcción de casas, ella tiene dos empleados quienes hacen a manos los adobes y ella vende a todos los pobladores de la comunidad y a otras regiones del departamento del Cusco. Ya son 10 años que se dedica a este negocio y le va muy bien gracias al empeño que realiza en su trabajo. Su actividad complementaria de Antonia es la crianza de animales menores como por ejemplo cuyes, gallinas y otros animales. Con el préstamo que Antonia va recibir, ella invertirá el dinero en la compra de animales menores como por ejemplo cuyes y gallinas.

Antonia pertenece al banco comunal “Mamacha del Carmen” de la Asociación Arariwa. El banco comunal esta en el tercer año de funcionamiento y les va muy bien.
