Digna
Digna C. is from the village of Samay, Gingoog City. She is 53 years old. Digna is married and has 8 adult children. To make a living, Digna owns & operates a specialized retail store. The main source of income for the business comes from buying and selling coconuts for copra & also green bananas in the local community. Digna has been engaged in her business for over five years and earns approximately 8000 PHP a month for these activities.

In 2011, Digna joined HSPFI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Digna is requesting a loan of 4000 PHP which will be used to purchase additional coconuts & bananas. This will be the 1st loan taken out by Digna from HSPFI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve/expand her business.
