This will be Maulid's fifth loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loans increase the shop stock and bought a motorcycle. He has paid back his loans successfully. He hopes for a loan to buy another motorcycle for transport business. His dream is to one day own a hardware shop.
Maulid will share this loan with his loan group "Mkwalila" which has a total of 20 members. The members of the group will hold each accountable is paying back their loans.

This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee.
