Marcial, a married father of two school-aged children, has been a farmer in the Philippines for 20 years. He is requesting a loan to purchase fertilizers and a variety of corn seeds to be planted on his farm lot. Currently earning PHP 100,000 each crop, Marcial hopes this loan will further grow his farm so he can more ably sustain his family and eventually improve their living standard.
