Valentina is a happy mother who has raised two children. They are now grown and live separately. Valentina is a successful entrepreneur from the Kahovka, Kherson region in the south-east of Ukraine. She sells footwear in one of the local markets and she has been in this trade for 15 years. An economic crisis and high unemployment rates forced her to launch a small venture and to take the financial risks that come along with it.
Valentina managed not only to survive in highly unfavorable surroundings but also to make her business sustainable. Currently, she has about 60,000 Grivnyas in inventory. Her monthly net profit is about 8,000 Grivnyas.
Valentina says she is happy to be able to provide for her family and realizes they have everything they need for normal life. Moreover, she enjoys working with people on a daily basis, learning to serve her customers better and getting more experience along the way. Valentina is requesting a 20,000 Gryvna loan to purchase 250 pairs of women shoes and re-stock her inventory for the spring/summer season.
