María O. es socia del banco comunal Narancay Bajo, vive por el sector del Vergel en la ciudad de Cuenca, esta ciudad en 1999 fue nombrada patrimonio cultural de la humanidad por la belleza colonia de su centro histórico, Cuenca es cuna de grandes atletas, pintores, escritores y artesanos, tiene una variedad en su gastronomía, su gente es muy amable y cordial.

Doña María tiene 30 años, es madre soltera de 2 hijos de 10 y 2 años de edad, su primer hijo estudia en una escuelita de la ciudad. No tiene casa propia por lo que vive en casa de su hermana la misma que es prestada.

La Señora. María se dedica al comercio, vende frutas y esta actividad la desempeña hace 10 años, labora de lunes a viernes desde las 6 de la mañana hasta las 5 de la tarde.

Se encuentra en su segundo crédito que realiza en el banco comunas y lo va a invertir en la compra de frutas para seguir creciendo en su negocio.

Su sueño es tener casa propia.
