Ndolo S. is forty years old and married. His wife is a businesswoman and they have five children, from one to fourteen. They hope to give their children a good education and send them to a university.
Ndolo's business is located at the busy open air Gikomba market in Nairobi. He sells clothes to the local people, and he has been in this business for twenty years. He works very hard from early morning to late evening to keep his business doing well. He recently hired an employee and he says the business is profitable.
His major challenge is financial constraints, so he is using his loan of Kes 80,000 to buy more clothes. This will help him grow the business and meet the demands of his customers. In the future, he hopes to open stalls for selling clothes and build some rental units. He describes himself as determined, aggressive and committed to his work.
