Zoila Ana
In the outskirts of Portoviejo on the way to Manta, the San Pedro Communal Bank meets every two weeks. I this place, the people focus on agriculture and the raising of animals.

Here we met Zoila, who is 36 years old. She is married, and from this relationship they have four children who are 17, 13, 8, 2 years old. The two eldest children study at the high school, and the younger one in the elementary school. Her husband is a cab driver and works in construction.

She is a housewife that sells Avon and Yanbal products (beauty products, cosmetics, perfume, and lady's accessories) to obtain her own resources. She works two hours a day, especially in the mornings. She sells her products on credit and collects every week or two weeks according to what her customers want. She sells perfume the most. She has been doing this activity for one year and it is going very well for her.

This loan is to buy perfumes, creams, cosmetics, and costume jewelry. This is the fourth cycle in the communal bank and she likes it because the payments are easy to make.

Her dream is to have enough income to fix her home.
