For the past 20 years, she has operated a clothes selling business, selling at the market to her neighbors and passersby. In addition she also sells shoes which contributes to her other source of income. Terezia faces a major challenge of competition from other shoes operators and high cost of transportation in her business. She dreams of expanding her business in the future.
With the Kshs 40,000 loan request she wants to purchase bundles of shoes and clothes for sale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
About Yehu Microfinance TrustThis loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
